Welcome to our website ! We are a UK-based online retailer of modelling, RPG and wargaming goodies, dedicated to great (and friendly !) service at reasonable prices. We are continually improving our site, with new products added regularly, so why not bookmark us or join our mailing list so you can easily see what we've got that's new. Our aim is to keep our overheads as low as possible, in order to keep our prices to you, our customers, as low as possible. Therefore, we've put this site together using Microsoft Office Basics. As the name suggests, it's basic, but it works, and it's free ! | | Join our Mailing List ! | How to Navigate Our Site All you need to do is use the navigation tabs on the left. To see what we sell, select the "Our Range of Products" tab - it'll expand out to show you all the different types of goodies available. If you go to the "Our Range of Products" page itself, it has links to each page with a bit of info on what lives inside ! | Latest News Going Full-Time ! After three years of fitting this business around day-jobs, we've finally taken the step of making it a full-time thing. It's quite a big step for us, but means we'll be able to respond to emails faster, get orders posted out faster, and spend more time developing the website with new products and improved functionality. Our "to do" list is huge, but to give you just a taster of what's coming; - We've got dozens and dozens of new products we'll be adding to the site. - We'll have time to create email newsletters to let you know what's new. - We'll be doing a small series of videos with helpful hints and tips. - Once we've arranged with our bank to take card payment over the phone (it's hard talking to them in the evenings !) we'll publish a telephone number you can reach us on. We've made a start by fully updating our Vallejo Water & Stone Effects page, including Vallejo's newest products, three terrain effect acrylic pastes. | Other places to find us We also have an ebay store, http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SnM-Stuff - prices for our products are cheaper here on our website, but we sometimes use ebay to list ends of line and one-off items. We have recently joined the FSB, the Federation of Small Businesses. They are an organisation dedicated to supporting and helping small businesses, lobbying parliament on their behalf, and (just as importantly) they visit new members to validate that we are who we say we are and meet the standards they set.

"UpFront" is the logo they use to indicate verified merchants. | Coming Soon We're slowly doing a bit of a cosmetic revamp on the website. The biggest change will be that the thumbnail images will be clickable links to open larger versions in a separate window. That way, you'll be able to see the products in their full glory. It'll take quite a bit of work, so it'll probably happen a page at a time over a few weeks. Any of the images with a white background can be clicked to open a new window with a full-sized version. We've also started adding air courier prices for international orders over 2 kilo's in weight. It's a slow process, but should be done soon ! Most important of all.... tell us what you'd like to see us stock ! All we have to do now is remember to post there more often - we seem to always be so busy making sure orders are posted out really quickly ! Click on the link below and it'll take you there ! | About Monitor Settings & Colours We've tried to design this site to be user-friendly ! We designed it with our monitor set to 1440 x 900 pixels, but it should work with widths down to about 720 pixels (at higher settings, you might see white space on the right.... it's the compromise we needed to make so it was good for most settings). No two monitors display colours quite the same, and no two people see them the same anyway ! Please take colours in our images as a guide rather than exact. We take our photographs under natural light, where possible, to make the colour as consitent as we can. We've aimed for colours which are user-friendly for colour-blind people (and had a colour-blind friend test it out), but welcome any suggestions for improvement ! |
