| About Us | Who are we ? | SnM Stuff is a small family-run company, dedicated to personal, efficient and friendly service at great prices. At present there are 3 of us - Sean, Melanie, and our cat Tabby (who carries out cuteness, moral support and milk-drinking duties) Until very recently, we operated the company on a part-time basis, but as of July 2010 we are really pleased to have been able to take the business full-time. We are still quite small in terms of the number of people working here. But this has it's advantages ! We pride ourselves on our knowledge of our products, and our ability to give personal service. Although we may not always be around during office hours, we're brilliant at replying to emails during evenings & weekends, which in our experience is when most people shop online anyway. | | | Our background and connections | We took the step of turning our long-standing love of gaming and modelling into a business in January 2007 (feels like forever ago now !). But we have plenty of previous business experience and training in a wide variety of fields, including logistics, customer service, marketing and accountancy. We are also connected to Magictype Supplies. This is another family concern in a very different line of business; the partners in that company are Melanie and her father (he set the company up some 25 years ago). We are happy to be able to sell Magictype's self-adhesive lettering products in addition to our own. | | | Why we set up a website | We started off purely selling on ebay, but by selling our products direct to you from this website, we don't have to pay all the charges ebay levy. This means we can keep the prices down for you, our customers ! | | | What are our values ? | We are dedicated first and foremost to giving great service at reasonable prices. We've had both good and bad service from other companies, and our guiding principle is "how would we like to be treated ?" It's not a perfect world, sadly (it'd be boring if it was !), and we accept that not everything will go as planned. But we firmly believe that it's how we handle things that don't go quite right that makes our reputation, as much as all the things that go perfectly smoothly. There are always things we can't control; the vagaries of the Royal Mail, deliveries from our suppliers, etc. What we can guarantee you is that we'll always keep you posted on what's happening, and do everything we reasonably can to ensure you end up happy ! If you like the way we do things, tell your friends - if we mess up, tell us and we'll do all we can to sort it out ! |
