They are ideal for military modelling and figure painting, both modern and historical. Many of the colours are as close as you can get to the "official" uniform and vehicle colours used by the armies of the world.

Vallejo Model Color paints are widely recognised as setting the standard for acrylic paints. They come in 17ml bottles with a unique "eye-dropper" nozzle design, so that you can control exactly how much paint you use.

Vallejo acrylic paints can be mixed with each other and are designed to be thinned with water (thinner dilutions are ideal for washes). The pigments are more finely milled and more concentrated than other manufacturers, so you can use them neat or dilute them quite a lot before you lose opacity and adhesion. Brushes can be cleaned in water, but remember to do it before the paint dries !
